Why Roanoke is different
Most towns vacuum the leaves off your curb. Roanoke doesn’t.
The City of Roanoke runs a bagged-only program. Paper bags, bought by you, no plastic. Rake them into the street and you’re breaking an ordinance. And pickup isn’t on demand: in 2025 it was four dated windows in November and December, with nothing over Thanksgiving week.
Cross into Roanoke County, Salem or Vinton and the rules change again. The city’s own leaf page tells residents they may hire a contractor. That’s us.
It matters more out here than most places. Roanoke County sits under 76% tree canopy, and almost half its street trees are maples, which drop hard and all at once. A half-acre lot under mature maples is a weekend you don’t get back, every year.
No bags to buy
We tarp and trailer everything. Nothing at the curb.
No schedule to track
We come when your trees drop, not when the truck route says.
Beds and corners too
Where leaves actually pile up, not just the open lawn.
County, city, lake
Same service on either side of the line.

Three ways to book
Pick the one that fits your trees.
Every option gets the same crew and the same written quote. The difference is how many times we come back and whether the gutters are on the ticket.
One-time leaf cleanup
Blow, rake, tarp, haul. Beds and fence lines included. One visit, done.
- Lawn, beds, fence lines, foundation
- Tarped, loaded, hauled the same day
- Best once most leaves are down
Season package
Three visits between late October and mid-December, timed to when your trees actually drop.
- 2–3 visits, timed to your trees
- Priority scheduling in peak weeks
- One price for the season
Leaf + gutter bundle
Yard cleared and gutters cleaned on the same trip. One crew, one ladder, one bill.
- Everything in a cleanup
- Gutters $249, less a $50 bundle credit
- One ladder, one bill
Pricing depends on lot size and how much is under the trees. Want the number now? Type your address for an instant price. Otherwise you’ll see it in writing before you commit to anything.
What actually gets cleared
The open lawn is the easy part.
Anybody can run a blower down the middle of a yard. The leaves that cause problems are the ones packed into the beds, wedged along the fence and sitting in the gutter until February.

Beds, fence lines, foundations
Where leaves actually pile and mat down over winter. A blower pass on the open lawn never touches these.

Gutters and downspouts
One trip, one ladder, one bill. Add it to a cleanup instead of paying a second crew to come out.

Tarped and gone the same day
No paper bags to buy, nothing stacked at the curb, no dated collection window to plan your weekend around.
How it works
Three steps. None of them involve a rake in your hand.

Where we work
About 25 miles around downtown Roanoke.
City and county, both sides of the line. Out through Botetourt and Bedford, down to Boones Mill and Rocky Mount, and around to the Smith Mountain Lake side of Franklin County where the lots are big and the oaks are bigger.

Questions people ask
Straight answers.
Do you haul the leaves away, or just pile them at the curb?+
We haul them. The City of Roanoke won’t pick up loose leaves at all, and the county, Salem and Vinton each run their own bagged schedules with a handful of dated weeks. Most of our customers don’t want to keep track of that, so we take everything with us the same day.
What does a cleanup include?+
The whole yard: lawn, beds, along the fence, around the foundation, under the deck if we can reach it. We blow and rake to tarps, load the trailer, and leave the grass visible again. Gutters are an add-on unless you pick the bundle.
When should I book?+
Earlier than feels necessary. Maples in Roanoke County drop fast and mostly at once, usually in the first half of November, and that’s when every crew in the valley is booked solid. A season package gets you on the calendar before that happens.
How is the price figured?+
Lot size, tree cover, and whether the leaves are on open lawn or packed into beds and corners. You’ll get a written number before anyone shows up, and it’s the number you pay.
Do I need to be home?+
No. If the gates are unlocked and the dog’s inside, we’ll do the job and text you when it’s done.
Which areas do you cover?+
Roanoke, Salem, Vinton and Roanoke County, out through Botetourt, Bedford and the Smith Mountain Lake side of Franklin County. If you’re within about 25 miles of downtown, we’ll come.
Get on the calendar before the maples let go.
The first two weeks of November book solid every year. A minute now, a written quote within one business day, and your yard is handled.
